Root Can't mount/unmount System files

I have rooted my G-tab and am running VEGAn-tab. I am trying to fix the Netflix app to get rid of the chipmunks but I can't seem to get the file system to mount.

I am using Easy file, I go to Root options and select mount file system. A message appears saying failed to mount, when I uncheck it, it says failed to unmount?? What am I missing? I really would like to make the build.prop file r/w so I can make the proper changes.
