Help Cant receive text messages but can send text messages

ive got my phone back recently and before it i went to sleep it was working just fine like it normally should but when i woke up i cant receive any text messages at all i can send it but i can receive it... i thought it would be something with my calls also but i can make and receive calls ive restarted me phone, done the factory reset and just recently i put the sim card into another phone and i got the messages but when i put it back in mine i didnt have any other messages. its really been starting to irritate me im just trying to look for help on this

Mine does this too from time to time. It'll only allow me to see any multimedia messages I receive. It will do this for 3-7 days at a time then I'll wake up one morning and have forty texts.
