Hey guys, i need ur help desperately!
I just bought a HTC Legend used off of a guy who didn't want to pay his bills. I have since tried to activate it (with Virgin Mobile Canada). But when they asked me for the imei # and ran it through the system it came up that the phone was active (probably because the dude wouldn't pay his bills). they asked me to contact the previous owner and get him to cancel his plan but i know that's not gonna happen. is there a solution to this problem? can i simply unlock the phone? or do i need to go to another network because i would really like to stay with this one.
