Hello. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 through Verizon Wireless. I just set up my phone with voice recognition ("ok google") and when I tried to send a text message to my husband, another contact with the same name came up.

    • I went back into my phone contacts, and deleted that old contact, since it was added years ago and I don't use it anymore.
    • When I try to send a text message to my husband using the voice recognition, the supposedly deleted contact still shows up, though it is no longer in my contact list on my phone so I can't go in and try to delete it again.
    • I do not synchronize my phone numbers to the cloud,
    • this person is not in any of my Gmail contacts, and
    • I don't have backup assistant anymore, though I used to, and didn't realize that I don't until just now.
Obviously this phone number is stored in another place as well as on my phone, but I don't have any idea where that would be. I have dozens of temporarily stored phone numbers that I need to clean out and I'm afraid that this is going to happen with every one of them . Anyone know? Thanks!
