    Howdy,

I tethered my phone to a Windows 7 x64 laptop I have. While tethering was bumpy at first, I managed to find the information to smooth the setup here on the forums, and now Windows and the Droid are "Happy" talking to each other.

However I have a minor issue that I have not see here on the forums, and to be honest I am not sure can be fixed here, BUT! I am hopeful

Essentially the Windows laptop cannot Resolve the DNS to be able to actively troll the internet. I tried to manually set a DNS IP (Googles DNS @ 8.8.8.8/ 8.8.
4.4), however this accomplished exactly jack squat for me.

I also noticed that I am unable to actively go online with my phone when its Tethered. So while the systems see each other, they can't see anything else.

I contacted my phone Provider, Cellular South, and was told they do not support tethering because they have not been trained on it yet. This made absolutely no sense to me as its an integral part of the phone.

So, uh anyone here have any advice?

Thread moved to the Sprint Hero section as Cellular South is a CDMA network.
