When I plug in my note to my computer (I mainly use linux, opensuse) it doesn't recognize it as a standard device where I can drag and drop files. It only shows it as a camera device. I can see all the folders but I can't see anything inside of any of the folders!

I select "Show hidden files" and it still doesn't show anything. The odd thing is when I drag and drop files to the folders it will show up on the note, but the next time I plug it in, I can't even see the files I put on. I have no way of managing the files on the phone and the space has reached max capacity.

The exact same thing happens when I try and plug it into a windows machine. It only recognizes it as a camera and I see no files.

I just noticed by changing USB options connect as MTP is default, changing it to Camera(PTP) enables it to show picture files, but that's it. I can't see anything else in any directory that isn't a picture. In MTP mode it shows nothing at all...

Just curious, what happens when you use the file browser on your phone? Can you view the folder contents there?
