I need to flash my phone back to Froyo since the Gingerbread ROM is too glitchy for me. I had backed up my ROM prior to flashing gingerbread, but clockwork does not see any backups. When I connect the phone to the USB, I can see the backup. I also have the file saved to my PC. Is it possible the backup is in the wrong directory or something? This all started when I tried to upgrade to a larger SD card and ever since, everything is glitchy. Worst case is I will have to reflash Froyo and start from scratch. Any help is appreciated.

Open up Rom Manager and try flashing the recovery again, and then try restoring again, report back

I just did a total wipe, reflashed aospMod v0.9.9.2 signed.zip and gapps mdpi 20101228 signed.zip. I cannot get the market to work (it tries to load and then stops), and the home button no longer works. Maybe there is a clockwork zip that I can install and get everything working again. Pretty frustrating for a Saturday morning.

Trying now to start all over with the AOSP Gingerbread. It's weird that the home button and the market do not work.

For some reason the home key does not work anymore when running Froyo. I ended up wiping everything again and reflashing the gingerbread rom. It is a little glitchy on my phone, but I guess I will have to live with it. I am tired of messing with this thing and look forward to my contract being up in August. So far, I am planning on getting the Evo 3D.

Froyo should be working though, others have had the same issue but usually reflashing the ROM usually resolves the issue. There are other ROMs you can try, you can KDecks GB Rom which I find to be pretty stable right now, or you can go back to 2.1 and flash Liquidsense

Can I just flash KDecks GB Rom over the top of the current GB Rom?

I would not, I would simply create a Nandroid backup, then do a full wipe, this way you are assured of having no issues, I only do not wipe when flashing within the same build and rom from the same developer.
