My phone memory is full and I am trying to move the videos in my Galaxy S3 to my pc. I can see the videos in "camera" folder along with the pictures in my phone. There are total of 80 files (20 pics 60 videos) but in my pc when I try to copy the files I can only see 20pics inside the phone.

Tried creating another folder "Moved videos" and moved the videos into that. Now I can also see that folder through my pc but again can't see the videos inside, it shows as 1 folder 0 files.

Not sure if it is related but can't connect to Kies either. Kies won't recognise the device.

Tried AVG virus scan and could not find anything. Try usb debugging etc.

The videos inside are important to me so can anyone help me copy these into my computer please.

Yes I tried that. Also when you troubleshoot in Kies it reinstalls drivers as well. But no luck unfortunately :(

Try connecting then waiting for a while. Sometimes it just takes some time to refresh on a first connection.

I tried it multiple times. I bought an sd card as last hope. I will try moving the videos into the sd card and turn the phone back to factory settings.

What program are you using to try to see the files on the computer? If you're on Windows you should be using Windows Explorer (aka My Computer; not Internet Explorer).

    See also this thread:
    http://androidforums.com/android-ap...fi-pc-es-file-explorer-3-0-a.html#post6037844
The thread is about using ES File Explorer as an FTP server, and my post also mentions using a Samba server.

Moving files to SD card will suffice. Then you can remove the SD card from the phone and use a card reader to get them onto the computer.
