Can't send texts.

I have the Thunderbolt HTC Sense One. I turned it off & charged it however once I turned it back on, fully charged 5 hrs ago I cannot send any texts. I received a text but could not send reply. Everything else on the phone is working as horribly as usual. Any suggestions other than turning off or restarting the phone, I've tried both! Thanks!

Have you tried clearing the cache on the messenger?
