I'm trying to uninstall an app that I no longer use, and when I first tried to do it, I did something during the uninstallation process, and it still shows up on my phone, but when I try to uninstall it, it keeps saying that it was unsuccessful. I tried uninstalling through Manage Applications, I tried uninstalling from the market, and nothing works. Is there any other way to force delete an app?

Which application is it? Some apps install device administrators which have to be disabled before the app can be uninstalled. To do that, go to a home screen->Menu->Settings->Security->Select Device Administrators and see if the app you wish to uninstall is listed, if so, uncheck it and try the uninstall again.

Ah, thank you. I didn't do exactly what you said, but after reading your post, I remembered when I first installed the app, it did say something like that, and it gave a button within the app to properly remove it from the phone.
