I tried rooting my Samsung Gem with a program called Galaxy One-Click Root, and I thought my phone was rooted because the SU app was in my app drawer, but when I try to use root-only apps like Titanium Backup it doesn't work. I'm assuming that I'm not rooted, but I can't uninstall SU. Can anyone help me?
Btw, here are some things I tried:

    • Factory reseting my phone
    • Using a root explorer (I can't use these because I don't have permission)
    • Using update.zip to erase everything(when I try this I get "Installation Aborted" on the bottom)
    • Long pressing the SU app icon and dragging it into the trash can
    • Installing SPRecovery(RSD Lite won't recognize my phone)
None of those worked. Can anyone please help me? Thank you.
