Root cant unroot

    i tried to unroot using the (three network) ruu file but it says the bootloader isnt correct

    So now you're unrooting? What's the point in that?

    i just wanted to try a different method of rooting like goldcard...see if i can do it..follow the tutorial here on the forum

    goldcard isn't a method of rooting, its something you need in some other methods of rooting.

    Most of the other methods of rooting are old and outdated. Unrevoked is really the main method of rooting unless you're going oldschool (like I did - Unrevoked didnt exist for desire when I rooted).

    Did you unbrand your desire at any point?

    If you run an RUU, it must have a newer bootloader than what is on your phone. Maybe using the latest generixc one will work for you, since you dont actually need the Three UK branded one.

    Also bare in mind some of the early 3 Desires came on the generic WWE ROM so you'd just need the current 2.10.405.2 RUU to go back to stock

    what means unbranding...yeh it said that the bootloader is wrong or something. anyways im just gona leave it. i instaled the miui rom pretty cool.
