Help Can't update samsung galaxy s2 via kies.. HELP

Very Frustrated here!!
I have the samsung galaxy s2 and everyone has updated theirs to the ice cream sandwich software.
I plug my phone into the the laptop and kies states "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies"
I have searched around and couldnt find any help.
My phone is unlocked.
P.s I'm not a computer expert so keep it simple haha!

my phone samsung galaxy s2 display this message when connected to kies via usb ...i am from india and my phone details are
pda:kf3 phone:ke4 csc :kf3 (inu)
please help ...i have never rooted the phone and nor done any other stuff....went once to official samsung service centre got it reset

try to switch off your phone for one minute and check again via kies .
