I recently sent my phone in for a fix at virgin mobile. I got it back (they ended up fixing nothing - but that's not the point of this thread) but they also downgraded my phone software from 2.2 FROYO to 2.1. I tried to perform an update, but it said there was an error and bought me to the screen that appears when you do a hard reset, then shut off after a second. It rebooted and it was still on the 2.1 software. When I tried to go to the screen to try to perform the update again, it said my phone's software was up to date (which it obviously isn't.) What do.
