I just flashed sense and I'm having trouble updating. I've tried updating everything, I just haven't called support.

Yes I'm rooted, I flashed my back up because cm7 wasn't working for me. The update I'm talking about is Android2.3.3. I'm still on 2.2

Go here: [ROM][STOCK][RADIOS][OTA][ROOTED] 4.22.651.2, 4.24.651.1 (De/odex, Zipalign, Busybox) - xda-developers and download the odex 4.24 rom and flash that like you would any other rom. It is the rooted version of the OTA that was released recently. That will get you to the stock rom but keep you rooted. If you want to update your radios, I believe the download link and instructions are on that thread as well. If not, I can link you to them also.

    Yeah, you'll need to either:

    A) un-root :( or
    B) flash a 2.3 rom (xtremedays has you covered on that one)

As far as I know, there's no way of rooting 2.3. So you're going to have to wait until they figure out a way.

The problem isn't Froyo or Gingerbread, but rather the hboot version that came with the 2.3.3 update. They have not YET found a exploit to allow us to root it yet. There have been steps that seem to be encouraging but no root permanent or temporary as yet. It is not possible to downgrade your hboot either to be able to root, so it will still be a bit before those with the new hboot(2.16) can get rooted.
