It's working now mate, just took longer than usual to process I guess Thanks anyway
Also you might want try uploading large files via wifi as it is a inbuilt saftey protection so not to rince you data .
Same EXACT stuff happening to me. Def not a sprint problem, i'm vzw.
Pretty sure youtube really does have a 1GIG limit....
Can anyone confirm this?? I know this thread is old but having just now ran into this problem trying to upload my daughters middle school band vid i took (5 mins, 720)
ps: moved this from evo section to app section
merging with resurrected thread from evo section (then moving to app section)
I use PixelPipe. It's awesome and has no upload limits. Will upload to almost all Video/Photo sites (YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, etc.)
Laces out Dan!!!
It works fine from computer, up to 2gig limit. Sucks that there is a bug with uploading from phone though
So a year later its still happening!
AT&T Motorola Atrix.
Any news so far? I got 172 Mb of video to upload from my Son's Jazz band, got same error about 1Gb limit.
Is there any alternative apps for uploading to youtube? This is one of the reasons why I got a stinking smart phone was to take videos and upload them direct, not to go through my laptop.
ok I've got a embarrassing problem, basically I play tennis and record myself, the file is also on my p.c, but the file was Bluetooth to me from my friend sg2 to mine, he recorded it in 720, but when I upload it to YouTube it will only play 480?
I've looked everywhere to try and find if I can put it up as 72011 but carnt, help me
I have been using Youcast for sending/receiving video to friends for quite a while. There is no limitation of file size. Yes, you can also send video to youtube and facebook.
It's available at android market
i have inspire on straight talk and had the same problem
figured it was an error to expect but found others with this problem
all i did was opened the youtube app and signed in to my channell and tried a different video = perfect
everything works fine now
It has been a long while since I've encountered trouble with uploading my videos....but when i first got the phone i had trouble but resolved it by only having one google account on my phone...i believe those days are over because i now run with three google accounts on my phone...
but now I have had trouble with this since I took my video last night tried all evening to upload and again tonight...I read the post above this one and gave that a try. It didn't work exactly, but by me opening the you tube app I signed out and signed in then upload right from the you tube app by hitting menu on my phone..it hung on first try .., canceled and tried again..bam! It worked just like it is suppose to. I then upload another with no problem and it was a very fast upload
I have two thunderbolts. One running stock and one rooted. The stock one will not upload videos (to YouTube or anywhere else) without WiFi. The one that's rooted and loaded with icecream sandwhich has no issues. It is something in the stock software. I'm on big red.
