You can't judge the reliability of a product by the comments in a forum.... Mainly because nobody posts a thread simply saying something like "My phone has worked perfectly for 2 months"

People post experiences and problems, just like they do on IPhone, Samsung, Nokia forums, as well as Ford, Toyota etc forums.

Sorry your not happy with your phone, I hope your new one makes you happy.

To some extent you have to take the rough with the smooth or become a sheep and get an iphone ! ;)

Not had any issue with my desire and I'm about to root it to get a froyo rom installed.

99% of the time, technology fails because of the user. No matter how much they try to deny it.

Especially when you're talking about the 1st/2nd highest reviewed phone currently available depending on the website.

Not sure what line of work you're in Phenomenological, but us Network Analysts affectionately refer to these fails as the "Layer 8 problem"

What problems were you having with it, markuk? It was only yesterday that you were saying you prefer the Desire to your iPhone 3GS and your wife's iPhone 4. What happened to change your mind?

An iPhone for dummies book? How could they possibly write a guide book using words no longer than three letters? :p
