Root Cappy and the iPad - Can there be love between them?

Hi all, I'm thinking of actually buying an iPad for my fiance (she's a lover of the iPhone and cant be convinced otherwise) but I want to know if it's possible to have some type of connectivity between my Captivate and the iPad? Bluetooth maybe? I know that there's no sd card or usb slots on the iPad...
