Root Captivate Froyo Update - USB Issues

Hello

I updated my Samsung Captivate to 2.2 using the xda-developers build I897UCJI6-OCD-REV02-Low-designgears.exe. The successfully updated my phone & rooted it.

When connected to the computer the phone's SD cards are not visible. The phone connects fine when in the USB Debugging mode. I am at a complete loss, any thought on how I can fix this issue.

I have a different build/ROM...but the same exact issue =(

I uninstalled the samsung drivers & the SD card is now visible. I can see my SD card drives on the computer.

are you sure you are pulling down notification drawer, hitting the usb connected tab, then hitting connect? did you enable usb debugging?

That's the old buggy early development build that was leaked a long time ago. It wasn't meant for end-user use and has a bunch of known issues. No one uses it anymore.

All the current hacked ROMs are customized and use much-newer code as their foundation.
