Root CaptJager ROM question

Only one real question, It is telling me I have a OTA, But as soon as I do, It brings up a /!\ with an android. It that the new update sign or is that it going into recovery. So far without sense it freakin sweet!!!

I had the same issue. I ended up switching to the older CaptJager rom that still has sense. I didn't like how the new rom had mobile protect (or whatever the name is) installed as a system app. It wouldn't stop nagging me!

If you go back into recovery, you can easily delete mobile defense.
rm /system/app/com.MobileDefenseSomethingOrOther

This was the process that helped me clean up my version of CaptJager's 1.1

The update also doesn't matter, it's the original OTA that released with the launch of the Inc.

Thank you! I'll try the new 1.6.1 rom and just remove mobile defense then.

Also, so the OTA update isn't applied to this rom? It seems weird that they wouldn't include it.

I just had the new 1.6.1 rom installed an loved it except there was no gallery for pictures. whenever I'd take a picture then click on it, i'd get a force close. If i went into the app tray and tried to browse to the gallery manually, it was non-existent. other than that it was great

I love it too, but does anyone know how to get the exchange mail going? I tried the app called Touchdown, didn't like it. Who has any idea to install the stock exchange mail?

Confirmed: No Photos app, and camera force closes after this. Maybe we can install the nexus one's 3d gallery?

I'll search for it.

Edit: A simple goog search for Gallery.apk results in the flan gallery.

Still force closes, but now can view photos :-/

Can you guys use Wifi after flashing this rom?

Surfing on wi-fi and can tether on it. I have flashed hydra's kernel though.
