Help Car panel problem

Hi

today my car panel has decided to switch itself on at random moments of my day. I am not in the car and have not activated personally! I have tried restarting but that's not worked, I've looked at list of running apps and that's not listed either. It's killing my battery.

Any ideas as to what's going on and how I can stop it.

First action: Settings > Car dock > Auto-launch ... did you uncheck it?

EDIT: For the Desire HD are some threads with the car dock issue in the forum (named as car panel).
