Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had purchased a case to hold both the new prime and the keyboard dock?

I was looking at getting this

Navitech Durable water resistant neoprene 10 inch carry: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

At least as a temperary measure but I would ideally like something a little sturdier, but not something like a full sized netbook bag. Something in between would be perfect.

Any suggestions? (Only looking for a case for both the Tablet AND dock, cases for the tablet itself are not what im looking for).

An epic warning when it comes to any Navitech stuff. They don't really make sure that the product fits. I ordered such a thing for my previous netbook which was supported according to them, and it did not really fit in the case.

I am not saying that this case does not fit well, but I am sure as hell that they have not tested if it does as they had that product listed there even before Prime was out.

I have the Case Logic 7-10 inch netbook sleeve that I keep my TP and dock. It fits perfectly, and has an extra zippered compartment for the charger, cleaning cloth, SD/microSD card, and earphones. Ordered for under $15.

I ordered that Navitech case. It hasn't shipped yet, but I'll check back when I get it to let you know my thoughts.

I realize this may be a tad late, but here is the sleeve/bag/case that I got for my prime & keyboard and it is perfect:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VD92S8/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details

I had previously ordered a Timbuk2 sleeve that was a few mm's too small, and changed to this bag. I love it... tons of protection (really nice neoprene like eggshell padding inside), and plenty of space for the tab & dock.

EDIT: I got the extra small size of the Timbuk2 quickie messenger sleeve.

Those look nice but I wish they had some sort of scale for the sizes, there's no indication in the pictures.

I'm still in the market for a case/bag that houses the tab and keyboard. Preferably something like a folio case that I can slip the two in.

The description says it fits the ipad with a touch of room to spare in the XS, but the prime is a touch larger than the ipad so that would lead me to believe a small would be better.

EDIT: I just impulse bought a black small Timbuk2, hopefully its better fitting than the XS.

Their website has the exact dimensions... something must have been off though, because the site told me the XS sleeve should fit. I love my Timbuk2 quickie messenger sleeve though. Its perfect for my needs & extremely well built.

    I ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004AB715W

Samsonite netbook/iPad case, and for the price, can't be beat IMO. Should be here this week so ill post back my impressions.

    *edit*

Came in today and this thing is a steal at $14 +shipping. Quality is outstanding, I'm sure it'll outlast many tablets. Tons of pockets for cords, charger, spare SD cards, headphones etc. All of which are in the pockets shown in the pics below, and fits the tablet and dock really well. Very nice material, and hardware is top notch. I've attached some pics for reference.

It's early, but my first impressions are 5/5 for sure.

Hmmm. I didn't notice the dimensions listed. Then again i was in class too. I know the ipad is 9.7 and the prime is 10.1, so like i said if XS fits the ipad withnext to no room to spare then small hopefully should fit well with the dock ideally,

    I'm using the AmazonBasics case

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VPE1Q6/

Prime and dock fit great. Has a front zipper pouch as well. The only thing I don't care for is the bright orange interior and the oversized rubber zippers with giant Amazon logos. Still I'd give it a 4/5

My Timbuk2 bag came in tonight, my Prime is with my dad since he wanted to take it to work and show it off lol.

From the looks of it, a Small is slightly bigger than the tablet itself, both length and width but not to the point that there is ridiculous space left over. I figure with the dock attached and put it into the bag like a laptop, it will fit just perfectly with enough space to also use the external pockets but not too big to where I feel like I'm lugging around my work thinkpad.

Maybe the XS would be a "better" fit but I think mine fits pretty well and there's enough space all around I feel comfortable with my prime being inside it.

well my navitch case turned up.

soooooooooo much extra space around the tablet...

could fit 2 primes with docks in this thing, maybe 3 at a push... Great measuring navitec.

Currently keeping my prime dock with a ps3 controller in it for gaming on the go but I would recomend buying something else than this case. At least it was only

Wish I'd read this thread earlier... just got my "Navitech 10 inch carry case for the Asus EEE Pad Transformer Prime" and it included a label stating that it was an 11 inch carry case. Sure enough, my Prime + Dock floats about inside due to the excess space.

I've sent them an email to clarify whether they sent me the wrong one.

EDIT: Checking the Customer Discussions section on amazon.co.uk, it seems that I'm not the only one who received an 11 inch case as opposed to the advertised 10 inch. This is a shame, since apart from it being too big it's a nice case for a tenner.

I sent Navitech an email using the Contact Seller option 5 days ago:

I've still not had a reply but I notice that the case has now been withdrawn from Amazon UK.

UPDATE: Navitech got in touch and offered to send me a more suitable case as a replacement. Sounds good so will wait and see!

I did not need a sleeve myself, so I ended up getting this:

Case Logic VNA-210 10.2-inch Netbook / iPad Attache Case with Accessory Pocket.

It's really great, tablet with dock fits in there perfectly like a netbook. I can carry the charger with me and also capacitive pen, cleaning cloth, external USB drive and USB flash drive.

Sure it is larger than a sleeve, when placing this into another bag (for traveling or whatnot), but it is more multi-functional in the end of the day. But of course it's only recommended when tablet is with the dock.

    I bought this hard case:

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Internal dimensions now that I have it in my hand are:

    Case: 26.8cm x 19.1cm x 3-4cm
    Prime: 26.3cm x 18.1cm x 2cm

As you can see, it's a pretty close fit in theory. Have to wait 5 days before I get my Prime to confirm it's a good fit.

Final post on the Navitech Durable water resistant neoprene 10 inch carry case:

Navitech sent me a replacement case which really is a 10 inch case this time. This one is a perfect fit for the Transformer Prime + dock: the fit is tight and secure, the build of the case is very good considering the price and it looks like it'll take a good amount of use without falling apart.

So, provided you get the 10 inch and not the 11 inch case, I highly recommend this for the Transformer Prime and kudos to Navitech for their prompt replacement.

The replacement came with a pre-paid return label: I just swapped the cases over, stuck the label on, resealed the packaging and returned the original case to them.
