Does anybody know if any of the existing cases for HTC phones will fit an EVO? I will be purchasing EVO and have already purchased a screen protector. I am thinking I will want one of those rubberized or silicone cases too. I dropped my Pre within an hour of buying it. I will pass out if I do that with the EVO. I have googled with no success. Anyone else know?

The HTC HD2 is nearly identical in size, so that would be a good place to start looking. Maybe you can bring your Evo to a T-Mobile store and try one of the cases on for size.

I understand EVO comes with a case. Is this now incorrect?

I dunno where you heard that from, BUt not one person/article/review I have seen has said anything about it coming with a case. So no it does not, you will have to buy one yourslf if you want one.

I've read it here plenty of times. Even a representative at Radio Shack told me this info.

There are at LEAST 5 people on this forum that have gotten EVO's and none of them have said anything about a case. So don't think that's happening.

Unfortunately, that representative was wrong :-( just watch an unboxing video and you will see there is no case.. Now, if your referring to the $20 gift card that Radio Shack gives you when you go pick up the phone, then that is different, because that would be the perfect amount to put towards a case :)

    I know. That's what's strange.
