cases for the g2x

just got the g2x, lookin for a good case to put it in, really wanna find a nice hard plastic case an then maybe a leather one to hook to my belt as well, anyone have any suggestions, the ones at tmobile are why to expensive ???

I'm not sure how good the shell/case is for the Body Glove, but if I kept the phone, I would have got it...mainly for the kickstand. I had a leather/"pleather" Body Glove for my Moto Q (w/kickstand) that served me well for a few years.

G2x + sling adapter for DishNetwork + Body Glove case w/kickstand = right on time.

I have a body glove case. It survived my phones first drop without any damage, except to my nerves for a moment. I like the kickstand thingy too.

I just received the LG kickstand case. It's pretty nice in that it compliments the phone. The drawback to it is that it doesnt increase grip at all, actually reduces it. I'm afraid I'm going to drop this thing any minute now.

No belt clip but as far as hard cases, I use the speck candy shell, black of course.

body glove is nice... doesn't make it difficult to type on the keyboard for the side letter, its sturdy and increases grip as well. the belt clip is nice as it locks under the belt as not to pull it off and the kickstand is cool as well. This is as about as good as it gets until seidio releases there holster/hard case combo but that will be some coin as well.

When will you be coming out with an 'Active X' case? I got the Active X case for my Droid X and LOVED that case! Very rugged, stylish and easy to take on and off.

Will definately pick one up for my G2x if one becomes available.

I'm sorry for any misinformation! We don't have any plans or a time line for the ACTIVE right now, but I can pass along your requests!

Well since Seidio isn't planning on producing an 'Active' case for the G2x (bummer), I went ahead and tried out a couple of Body Glove cases. Here's the video...

Speck offers a CandyShell which is a hard case with rubber inside for the phone that fits rather well and offers great protection. I found one in my local T-Mobile store for $27.99 which was cheaper that the Speck website price of $32.99

The Zagg cover is a scratch protector, not a bounce protector.

Unless it was falling screen/back first on a sharp knife/nail, you'd be out of luck with a scratch protector...
