Anyone currently own this device? I just ordered one (it should arrive tomorrow) and I'm worried about all of the negative pub it gets on the internet i.e. slow processor, bad charging design, poor battery life. I'm just wondering if anyone has any positive experiences to share. If anyone out there does own one and has had it for longer than 1 or 2 years please share your thoughts. Thanks. I'll update this post with my thoughts after I've got mine up and running.

If so, I read the reviews, and it seems folks that wanted a smart watch first that compared to a Fossil or Huawei or Apple watch are upset and folks looking for a watch with integrated maps and GPS were happy. So maybe some of the bad reviews were due to misguided expectations.

As far as the battery life, YMMV. I have a 3 year old Huawei Watch (OG) and a Fossil Gen 3, both still in active use depending on my activities and what I'm wearing. I always expect to put them on the charger at the end of the day, though some days I fear I won't make it and I'm down to 10-30% when I get home. Other days I'm at 70-80% with seemingly the same activity.

I'd say use it for a bit, if you aren't satisfied, return it.

Rispondo da Italia e non so bene inglese. Lo possiedo da 2 anni il Casio WSD-F20 (in foto è indicato il WSD-F30) e posso confermare che è fantastico.
Autonomia batteria: oltre 2 giorni (BT+WIFI) e acceso e indossato anche di notte per la funzione di sveglia di mattina.
Mappe: spettacolari (ne puoi scaricare 1 da 40x40km offline sul casio e usarla anche in assenza di segnale cellulare (anche senza cellulare);
Ricarica: aggancio magnetico senza problemi (non si è mai sganciato in ufficio o a casa), devi fare più attenzione se lo ricarichi mentre fai trekking (ma si riesce benissimo);
Tempo ricarica: meno di 1,5 ore
Fluidità: spettacolare
Precisione sensori: ottima (altimetro da calibrare spesso con altezza conosciuta, normale in quanto trattasi altimetro barometrico)
Precisione GPS: la migliore sul mercato! In alcuni test è risultato preciso il doppio rispetto a Garmin Fenix 5x (che è un punto di riferimento per molti)
Display a colori: ottimo (non ho problemi neanche al sole, luminosità tarata al massimo)
Display LCD bianco e nero: ottimo di giorno (attenzione: Casio è stato il primo a introdurlo con il modello WSD-F10, alcuni nelle recensioni non si ricordano ...)
Robustezza: usato sia in montagna che al mare in acqua salata, al sole e alla pioggia, sotto zero e in piena estate nessun problema ne di estetica ne di tenuta acqua ne di tenuta della batteria
Peso e dimensioni: non è piccolo ma è 2 anni che lo indosso 24 ore su 24 senza un problema (e per anni non ho avuto orologi)
APP: le app Casio sono molto buone, poi con Wear OS ne installi tantissime (consiglio Viewranger per il tracciamento che è stato appena aggiornato e va benissimo, con meppe offiline);
Mappe e punti: spettacolare inserire punti da memorizzare e richiamare, tracciato precisissimo, più tipi di mappe, alcune anche con strade sterrate e sentieri
Prezzo: è un Casio molto avanzato, con GPS precisissimo e mappe e con una resistenza mai vista: non può costare poco (nota: non può essere confrontato con prodotti standard): 2 anni fa l'ho comprato a 450 euro e li vale tutti (è come nuovo e lo aggiornano in continuo).
Confronto con altri: non è possibile, è unico!
Assistenza: in Italia magnifica, meno di un mese per gli interventi (sostituzione batteria, ecc.)
