Cat dish on note 8

    So about a year ago i bought a new note 8 and transferred data and settings from.my old phone it was an lg not sure of the model cant remember

    Anyways i have the latest version of Android i can get from att but i have the old cat dish from the last version of Android

    It doesn't do anything i know what the cat dish is....anyone else have this

    I know what it is my question is why did it transfer over to this version of Android..

    Or why it did not get deleted during the update

    You didnt transfer the OS, you transferred FILES and personal data.

    FYI i have a note 9 and didnt even know these eggs exist so thanks to the perso above for posting.

    I just did the steps and a jelly fish is there.

    I am on tmo but I do see why att would delete this.

    Did you have the cat Easter egg on your phone BEFORE you transferred ?

    So you are saying you just NOW tried to test the Easter egg and nothing happens?

    Just trying to understand your actual situation...

    On my old phone with the older Android os... The easter egg worked....place food on the dish ...and then a cat will appear in your list...

    On Android os 8 i think its called oreo maybe im wrong which is what I have now....


    I have the plate and can put food on it but never get a cat....

    And my data was transfered over to this phone from an sd card

    LOL! I just tried it on my Note8 and I get an octopus. I never knew about this so thanks!

    Yeah but it does nothing except that it can be dragged across the screen.

    I noticed that. Such a shame I missed the cats...here, kitty, kitty! My dog would have so much fun.

    Press and hold the center of orange disk, should bring up Octopus.
