Okay thank you, I am fully rooted and am ready to get going but first I have a few questions. Can I just stay on stock rom, or I mean not flash a rom at all and still be able to get some better battery life. Or should I download and flash A rom for better usage and better battery?

I really just like the original style of the evo 3d that's why I want to stay stock.

Also, if I decide to flash a rom, Is it just like flashing roms for the evo 4g? Put the rom zip on the root of my phone, go into recovery, nandroid backup, clear cache and dalvik cache, and then flash zip from sd card? Is it still that easy or what? Oh and are there any tools like the wipe all zip for the evo 3d/.?

you can stay on stock if you want, but i would try some roms out if you like. that is really up to you. i would try the clean rom. it is pretty good and the stock kernel it comes with is not bad. you can try the tiamat kernel as well. that one is also pretty good.
and everything is the same as the evo goes unless your hboot is 1.5 then you need to flash kernels differently. but you need to wipe dalvik cache, cache, and data then flash the rom. do not forget to make a nandroid backup as well.

also i would look into the TWRP recovery. i really like it. i never like clockwork mod.

And make sure before flashing a Rom, that you do a back up, then do a full wipe before flashing a new Rom.

Thanks guys! I went ahead and flashed the clean stock rom and I am really happy with the performance. The battery lasted me 18 hours and the rom itself feels very fast and stable. I am loving my new evo 3d!
