Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to read my question.
I have an Android phone and always have had an Android phone. Love it. I also love the helpful community on this forum.
My place of employment offered to pay my cell phone bill at the beginning of the year. They paid me the first month and then stopped. After emails back and forth with accounting, they requested I send them my cell phone bill. I downloaded it in PDF, but didn't want to send all of my cell phone activity, so I just sent the pages showing what my bill was and what it was for.
They're now requesting I resend all my months of cell phone bills with all of my call logs attached too. I don't feel comfortable sharing my call logs with anyone. I feel that information is private. Am I wrong for feeling this way? I feel their request has crossed the privacy line. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Was the original agreement based on they'd pay for your phone bill no matter if it's personal or company business calls/texts/data, or just limited to company-related things? And do you have anything in writing to document the agreement?
If it was personal and company related than they do seem to be invading your privacy a bit. If it was just company-related I'd have to side with them, they need to have some kind of documentation. It wouldn't be practical for any company to just pass out random checks.

I think there's a communication breakdown on both sides here. If you are being reimbursed for the entire bill you should expect that they'd need documentation. If course your employer should have made it clear in the beginning that they needed that level of detail.
Think of it this way. If they had given you a company phone they'd already have your call log. The question then becomes would you be using the phone in the same way?
