Help change android system region,

Hi! i have a moto g and it had been working fine until january, since january it stopped recognizing my mobile network and couldnt make or receive calls everything else works fine. i finally figured out what happened, for some reason my phones system version changed and is now set to U.S. region and i live in Latin America.
Is there any way to change my system region without roting my device?

Try this:

Go to Settings -> Date & Time

Make sure Auto-date&time is selected and Auto-time zone is selected. If they are and the issue still persists, you might need to manually change these settings to the appropriate date/time and/or time zone. Once you have done these changes, power your phone off for 30 sec and turn it back on and test.
