    Hi friends,

Can anyone tell me about some tutorial for changing android system settings by code.
    System Settings like:
    Ringtones
    Vibration
    Volume
    Brightness
    etc

If anyone please tell me the names of the classes in which I have to look into, it will also be helpful.

    Thanks

I was also having some problem in writing settings by Settings.System, I scanned docs and found methods like putString and many else. I'll go home and try today. It work or didn't work I'll reply here tomorrow.

I tried using Settings.System and changed SCREEN_BRIGHTNESS value to the value of a seek bar. But the problem is value is not changing as I am changing the value from seek bar. It is changing after the application is getting closed and mobile is getting locked, and when I am unlocking the phone, I am seeing the new brightness.
    Why so?
