    I have Skyraider 2.5.2

I want to be able to remove the first part of the boot screen where it says skyraider and has the android waving around for a bit. I tried to delete it from the it's directory /system/media/ but it says it is root only.

What do I do? I cannot find anything that shows how to change around the boot screen...

    please help

You mean read only? You can move or remove it using adb then I'd assume you could replace it with one of your choice. I've never messed with Skyraider before tho.

Thats a great option, or you can just download 'Root Explorer' from the market.

This gives you the ability to R/W to the folder, thus, deleting, dragging and dropping new bootanimations, etc, without the extra work.
