Is there a way to change the notification sound for the Email only? (not gmail)

I see to turn it on or off only but not change it?
    Thanx

You don't say what firmware you are running. My v2.2 (Froyo) has selectable notification ringtones per account.

I can't seem to find a way. is it possible?
Even the most basic phones have this option?

I'm afraid that it is a feature of the latest versions but apparently not yours. Upgrade the OS?

Just Upgraded to the new Rogers 2.1

WTF, still can not set a custom Notification for Email?

Seriously, this is the most basic of settings, is it not?
am I missing it here or something?

  9. You need to download from the Market some free ringtones, like " funny ringtones " for example. Once it's on your applications, open it, select a ringtone you like, long press on it,
and a window will pop up asking you wherdo you weant to use it . nitifications, messagge or
phone ringtone. You may have as many downloaded ringtones as you like, and they all basically work the same way.
