I have a LG Optimus One and there are four shoutcuts at the bottom of the screen, I think thay are called quick keys.

How do I change them, they seem to change 'by themselves'!!!

also how do I lock them and the home pages?

    THanks

That does not work for me the quick keys change to a red trash can. I can not just drop the app on there. ANy other suggestions, I have read the manual and found nothing.

Do you use the lg home screen or do you use a different launcher? For the lg home screen, create a shortcut to the homescreen, then long press the shortcut, drag it down to the slot where you want the shortcut to be. The dock (I think its called dock and not quick keys) wont be shown, but you can still drag it there, and you will find that the shortcut has replaced the previous quick keys shortcut. If you are using a different launcher, like go launcher, long press the shortcut you want to change, you will get options to change shortcut, icon, etc. Hope this helps.

To modify LG's App Launcher Bar Dock Home Screens "Quick Keys" >
Applications > press and hold the app icon you want until the home screen appears > drag the app icon down to where the quick keys are and replace the app icon you no-longer want.

I did this successfully but it automatically changes back to the default stock shortcut & icon by itself. My lg-P500h is not rooted and I have upgraded to 2.3.3. Does anyone know why this happens?
