    I've bought a Nexus 4 in the US, the problem is I spend quite a bit of time in Europe and the N4 can't connect to Wifi Channels over 11, which is quite problematic.

    I've looked around on the net for general solutions and lots of people seem to have success with editing /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db and adding a wifi_country_code (set to JP or EU) or wifi_num_allowed_channels (set to 13 or 14).

    Other people seem to have success with changing the /system/build.prop file and changing
    ro.product.locale.region=US
    ro.wifi.channels=

    in the obvious way. Sadly none of these things seem to work for my Nexus 4. Is there anything else I can try to get this to work?
