In /system/sounds/poweron, you're going to want to change the PowerOn.mp3 file with whatever other .mp3 you like. It also has to be named exactly the same way. I would also recommend you keep the file short, about twenty seconds or so, otherwise it will get cut off when the phone finishes booting up before the soundbyte is done playing :)

But what do I do with the other one? Do I delete it? The original VM one is named as .bak

You either name it. bak or delete it, it really doesn't matter.

Hi guys . I decided to join this forum to ask Artine a question . First of all , nice job on Sleipnir . I just installed the 2 latest version and both are great . However the boot screen sound was removed for some reason . If it's not too much to ask for , can you post it up for us ? It was dramatic and I liked it .

What do you mean battery dies enough? You should be getting at least 24 hours solid on a good charge, and I've seen up to 60 personally.

60+ with regular use. But he probably plays games, or has his brightness or w/e high. :]
