Root Changing font with ROM toolbox breaks status bar on broken out..

At least for me.. It completely kills the entire status bar (time, signal, etc) only trieda few fonts.. flashing broken out again with no wipes fixed it for me.. Don't know if its been covered any where else just giving a heads up

Did you reboot after installing the font?

I've changed my font several times with no problems.

Try to put the font in the system manually through Commander.

Yep, tried multiple times with multiple fonts.. Maybe the first one broke it.. Will give it another shot..

Similar occured to me but mine was okay after rebooting.

After installing a font, notification bar completely goes away. But after rebooting it comes back with newly installed font.

Yeah you have to reboot any time you do anything for it to take effect.

On Gingersteem Extreme with speed tweaks from the build.prop If font is installed from toolbox would similar thing happen? Any reason why status bar breaks after installation of fonts?

Font changes have to do with the status bar for the simple fact that for example your clock/time will change as the font changes. The the statusbar will force close or stop working and you have to reboot after installation, assuming your doing all these using rom toolbox

I've changed it a few times but I shut my phone down completely and turned it on rather than a reboot. works fine for me
