Hi this is a silly problem that I'm a little embarrassed about... I built my app. It's almost ready for deployment, I'm just changing a few things and cleaning up. But I realized my min SDK version is 6. It's not a problem per se, but my target machine is an Xperia that uses android 1.5, which is an entirely different version. (SDK 6 is Android 2.0, IIRC). My question is: How best to redo the app to lower the SDK? Bearing in mind the AFAIK the app uses very standard classes that should be in all SDKs (probably from 1.0), the only thing I'm worried about is the SQLite interface, but I think it is the same in previous versions of Android. My origional idea was to create a new package, using android 1.5 and copy and paste the sources codes, manifestfile, XML, copy the few images into the new res folder etc, and hope for the best. But this is laborious and easy to mess up if I put a file in the wrong place. Is there another way to downgrade?
