charge the evo with your pre charger

    From the ratings on the two, they both pull the same amps. Should be ok. I'm doing it.

    Im a sprint rep and used it to charge my new evo the whole time I have been at my desk. Espescially since I have worked everyday since launch making new evo customers happy! :D

    All micro USB plug phone chargers should work. Im using the one from my Blackberry Storm and it works just fine. Because they are made to charge off of your computers USB port they all have to be universal in power output.

    The general statement would be that as long as the charger is providing the same or less current than the official evo charger, you should be fine.....

    Its possible to use a charger that provides more current but could damage the phone.
