Charges slow dies fast

My wife has just recently bought the LG K3 and it barely charges and then when she uses it it dies extremely fast any suggestions

First look at your battery stats before charging it the next time it runs low. got to menu>settings>battery and see what the biggest users of power are. It might show you a rogue app or provide us a little insight into what may be going on.

The slow charge/fast discharge is indicative of a process that's stuck "on".
