Charging Issues

Hi there, first off appologies if this has been brought up before. For some reason my phone will only charge if the thing is plugged in in a certain way (as in if the the cable is pulled towards the front of the phone). It seems to be a hardware issue so I'm not sure what can be done here, but I just thought I'd ask people's opinions on where to go from here

Sounds as if its either the connection on the plug or the connection on the phone itself.

If you have another usb lead swap it with the one on the plug already (Presuming that your is the same as mine and this can be done) or buy another off the net for about

Had this problem on my old Sony Ericsson, but not my Desire (thankfully!)

As said above, try and get a different USB cable and see what happens. If the problem is still there, then it maybe a fault with the phone hardware and it may need repair or replacement.

Ah fair play, thought so as I have tried several different cables, one of which just falls right back out again. Anyone know the sort of turn around time I'm looking at?

Repair by HTC can be anything from a few days to 3 or 4 weeks.
