charging the htc desire

hi guys im shaad

ive just bought a htc desire and im having dificulty charging it, the charger doesnt work at all, this is nmy 2nd phone i returned 1st one with same problem.

the battery is in same plcae after 3 - 4 hours no charge at all.

it has a weird sort of charger, plug on its own then a sort of adapter that fits in only after twisting it at a 90 degree angle am i doing it right?

please help.

Yeah, thats how the charger fits togather, maybe take the battery out and check if there is a protective piece of plastic blocking the contacts.

Do you know anyone with the same phone that you could try using their charger, or maybe bring into a store and get them to check it out?
