I have a brand new Galaxy S5 neo with lollipop, and every time I start the phone, it tells me to check the battery cover. I have sealed it and even used the pressure points it tells me to but it keeps happening.

Probably standard message when booting. Have similar on S5 Active along with message to check USB cover every time I unplug USB cable.

It's supposed to do this. If you are rooted then you can use apps like titanium backup to freeze or uninstall the app called popupuireciever and that will stop it from happening again.

This, and it's just an automated pop-up. There is no sensor in the phone that can tell whether the cover is secured or not.
