A friend is developing an app, and it works on the 2.2 emulator, on vodaphone and t-mobile phones, but not on my o2. Is there any way to test if I've got something blocked on my internet, to see if it's worth attempting to fix, or if it'll be screwed on o2?

(I ask here in case there's a way specific to the htc desire)

I've never thought about that before, but now you mention it that would be a fantastic app. All teh port scanners I can find on the market are for scanning other network ports (so wouldnt be of any help) but there must be a simple way / app to test.

    I shall investigate further
