Thread title says it all. ChompSMS has been working great and out of nowhere it's renamed itself to com.p1.chompsms.activities.MainActivity

    HTC Hero - Android 1.5

How can I fix this without uninstall/reinstall?

    Hi sknoll84 :)

It sounds like somehow it may have become corrupt {somehow}??? ,

I beleive the only Option would be to Re-install it unless you can still use it and put up with the name change :(

This is happening with multiple apps now. The star map android thing is now named and I am serious, the entire EULA agreement. If you open an app manager app you can see the names listed and that app's name is multiple paragraphs. Pandora is having issues with the icons that show when it is playing, I only get a thumbs down and I am not alone. Google voice now has lost it's plain title and reverted back to the process name. Craziness is going down.

I am also having this issue with ChompSMS, tried re-installing but it isn't fixed. It has that long name for some reason...sucks to have that whole thing on my shortcut for it...:-( Anyone know of a fix for this?

This happened to 4 of my apps. The free ones I uninstalled and reinstalled but I'd rather it just not happen, :)

What about paid ones that may have gone like that?

You know you can re-download them for free :)
