i'm kind of new to the G1 and this site. I've only had my phone for a few weeks. I've been useing the chrome browser for it's download functions, but i can't seem to figure out the program in depth. There's some buttons that will flip between pages that are open, but i can't seem to figure out how to save bookmarks with it. Is there a text file or instructions on how to use this program?

    thanks for the help

    Hi Trench

to save bookmarks hit the menu button and click the bookmarks option When you are in that view right at the top of the list should be an option that says

New Bookmark: Click that and it should save the current page that you are on. If you don't want that page but want to add other bookmarks that you know off the top of your head then just edit what is on show and then hit ok.

when i hit the menu button, i dont see anything about bookmarks with the Chrome browser. I do with the older browser. If i hit menu all i see is a list of device settings, with no bookmark info. I can hit a little icon on the browser screen that opens up a blank black page that says "bookmarks" at the top, but it's empty. If i press menu when i'm in that section, nothing happens.

To save bookmarks in Steel, click the plus next to the address bar. Newer versions of Steel also have some new context menus that come up when you hold your finger down on the screen. Zoom buttons pop up in a pie chart type configuration, as well as some other controls, depending on what you are doing.
