Chromecast Ultra cpu ram and storage - no one seems to know not even wikipedia?

There is no cpu or ram, it's not in the unit.
All the Chromecast ultra does is act as a bridge between your phone and your WiFi network. Nothing more.....
Storage? Again there is none

This does seem to be something of a mystery at this point. Online searches for definitive hardware specs for the Ultra hasn't resulted in any valid results so far.
Seems odd as there's no shortage of search results for Chromecast and Chromecast Audio hardware specs -- i.e. my 1st generation Chromecast >> SoC (Marvell Armada 1500), RAM (512MB-DDR3L), Storage (2GB). Just guessing but the Ultra probably has a faster SoC and more RAM to account for that big jump to steaming 4K content, with the storage memory a lessor issue. The storage for the 2nd generation Chromecast had less, maybe taking into account streaming will rely more on bandwidth speed, and use the storage memory more for as cache than storage?

So I'm curious if it's just your curiosity as to what's inside an Chromecast Ultra, or is there some specific reason you want to know? It's not like there are any user-upgradable/replaceable components.
 
I am an ex systems programmer, used to program machine code computer games for Namco and US Gold in the 80's before i went into firmware development so I am just technically interested.

It ISNT just a bridge - Google already mentioned the cpu would be an upgrade.

How can it be a bridge without a cpu even if it is an Soc the make and model are not available anywhere and without ram it wouldnt be able to transfer to/from all devices , especially older ones at 4k without serious issues! Stay off the wacky baccy!

Many users on other forums have mentioned a lot of jitter issues svim with the chromecast 2 and works fine with the old chromecast so i was wondering if this was to do with losing the 2gb storage down to 256mb so i was doing some testing and yes it does seem that my chromecast 2 performs worse than my chromecast 1.0 in certain circumstances, its a topic that was mentioned and grabbed my interest!
The 2gb is used for caching so i cannot understand why they reduced it to 256mb even though they said this was because the chromecast v1.0 connectivity needed it and yet the chromecast 2.0 doesnt hmmmm
