I am having trouble getting CIFSManager to work. It appears to be pointing to /system/lib/modules/cifs.ko to load the CIFS module but the file doesnt exist. I changed the location in the advanced section to where it is on my SDCARD with the same result. Has anyone used this successfully and if they have could you offer any guidance on setup please. It looks like if I could put the CIFS file in the modules folder it might work but I cannot for the life of me find any guides on how to change the system folder to read/write.

I am running an HTC Desire that was orange branded. 2.2 and rooted.
