Anyone tried City Caller ID on the Droid X yet?

It's like the City ID trialware crap that was installed on the X, but it's free.

They were actually sued by City ID, I guess, but you can still get the .apk here.

City Caller ID (free old app - same as payware CityID) - xda-developers

I know it worked great on my Incredible.

When a call comes in, it does a quick look up of the area code/exchange and puts the city and state for that exchange on your screen.

So when somebody calls, it reads the areacode and says which city/state the call is coming from (ex. Anaheim, California)?
doesn't the phone already do that

Yes, it does, but I was under the impression we have only a trial of City ID and the phone will stop doing that after the first 30? days unless you then pay the monthly fee for City ID.
