Root Cl 14 Downgrade to Root?

    Do you have to downgrade from cl 14 to root the samsung moment?

    Yeah my phone came with cl stock.. I had to downgrade then upgrade and then used zefie's kernel

    You don't have to anymore...Zeffie's ZE13 is out and requires a stock CL14 and uses the Sprint tool to do the flashing now.

    Pretty awesome work.

    Just did the new procedure.

    datatool backup
    Shut down.

    Get the Sprint utility, _follow_ the directions.
    Flashed to the Sprint CL14
    Followed Zeffie's instructions
    Used Sprint utility to flash ZE 13+ release of the kernel

    Datatool restore

    Installed SetCPU
    put the setcpu.txt file as recommended on the ZE wiki
    Setup all the new speeds.

    Rebooted...it's snappier now.

    I set max speed for 1600 while charging/plugged in

    Too early to say how it will work out, but it all flashed like clockwork.

    I didn't link to Zeffie's pages because I don't know all the politics of late and didn't want to stir the pot.

    *** Don't do the overclocking, it resulted in instability...read current Zeffie's instructions at http://www.midnightchannel.net and http://wiki.midnightchannel.net/ for current progress and instructions
