I have an unlocked and rooted SGS4G I'd like to sell. It does not have a custom ROM, but it does look there are some ICS roms that will run on it.

The only personal things I have on there are mail and Play. I deleted Location, maps, all the extras using Titanium B.

That should just reset but stay rooted, no?

I traded a phone and did the factory reset / format sdcard and let it reboot to the activation. I bypassed it to make sure all my stuff was gone (it was) and did a factory reset again (so the recipient would get the activation prompt). Worked like a charm, the new owner had no problems getting up and running (and it was still rooted).

It's unlocked - doesn't a current SIM card activate it?

Oh, I'm not sure about that, my phone was a CDMA d2.

I've bought 2 unlocked phones from Amazon and got service the minute I stuck my SIM in. Both were European GSM phones. I can format the SD card in the computer.
